Our mission.

VibroSystM intends to become the platform of choice for our customers, acting as a gateway for data access and integrations. By not restricting our customers making their own choices, we help and make it easy achieving their goals. This is our mission.

Our story.

In the early ‘80s, a small group of engineers headed by Marius Cloutier and working at the Hydro-Québec Research Institute were mandated to find a reliable monitoring solution to help prevent rotor to stator rubbing on hydro generators. This intensive research resulted in the introduction of Air Gap capacitive technology and in the founding of the company that would become the world leader in large rotating machine protection and diagnostics: VibroSystM.

VibroSystM came into existence in 1986 with a capacitive technology as a reliable solution for the air gap monitoring of hydroelectric machines. The requests that followed, expressing the need to adapt VibroSystM systems to other types of large rotating machines, reflect that customers are more than satisfied with their experience resulting from VibroSystM’s expertise. The ability to expand monitoring diagnostic technology and services to a variety of equipment helped position VibroSystM at the forefront of the industry. Today, a renowned High Technology Company, VibroSystM is oriented towards providing comprehensive information, which global end-users can rely on, for the efficient management of their rotating machines.

Working at VibroSystM since the beginning of my career has made me, and still makes me, proud and grateful to have had the opportunity to contribute to the success of the company in my way, thus seeing it prosper and become a leader in its domain. Working at VibroSystM since 1987, I have lived through and actively participated in the growth of a Quebecer SME. When we go from a 4 people sized company to more than a hundred employees and that we must then familiarize ourselves to the various operational forms of a business that works on an international level, we quickly find a sense of achievement while creating employment opportunities for our colleagues.

1988 is a year filled with memories; especially my beginning at VibroSystM. After all these years of loyal services, I am proud to say that I am one of the pioneers in the evolution of the company as it is known today. I have been fortunate to be in the employ of a Quebecer company that offers a great sense of belonging to its employees. I was moved to see the VibroSystM probes installed in a turbine of the LG2 power central during a restoration. Without my dear colleagues, all these years would not have been as memorable. Thank you.

I am an Electrical Engineer graduated from Université de Sherbrooke in 1988. It is at this moment that my career started with Mr. Marius Cloutier, VibroSystM's President, and a modest team of two people, thus forming the R&D Department at that time. Since the very beginning, I was able to observe VibroSystM's evolution on many levels so that it could maintain its innovative leadership in the domain of monitoring of large rotating machines. For many decades, VibroSystM has developed with its people, its technologies, its skills and its international notoriety. Congratulations to VibroSystM and to each of you that have contributed to its success.

Having joined VibroSystM in 1991, I reminisce about those early years where innovation propelled the company on new international markets due to its ground-breaking solutions. It is with pride that I was able to contribute in my own way to the growth of the company. By working in various departments over the years, I was lucky to meet motivated, endearing people from different cultural backgrounds. Therein lies one of VibroSystM's best riches, the people that make it up.

I am satisfied with what I have accomplished in my career since I have started at VibroSystM. If I have become the person that I am today, it is due to the company's vision, the encouragement that I received that has permitted me to surpass myself and also to the skilled people that think very highly of VibroSystM. I am proud and grateful to be part of a team that never ceases to amaze me.

I started at VibroSystM at 30 years old. My different functions have given me the opportunity to see several countries and acquaint myself with different cultures. I especially had the opportunity to work with people that have an unwavering competence that, despite the remoteness and technical challenges, were always available to offer their support in order to ensure the success of projects. I now contribute in my way so that the next generation can also succeed within our large family. VibroSystM is more than a job, it is a place where we are allowed to thrive.
